Dili, East Timor - September 2017 – Two Don Bosco Volunteers (VDB), one a current Central Council member, made an animation visit from August 27 to September 4 in the the Vice Province of Indonesia Timor-East (ITM). During their visit, the two VDBs visited the Salesian communities, participated in the SYM forum, visited the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, met with faithful and young people, providing basic information of the vocation and discernment of the VDB.

Madrid, Spain - September 2017 - 48 animators at Mohernando and 15 in Arévalo completed the first part of the "San Giacomo Maggiore" (SSM) Animator Training Plan. Brasilia, Brazil - September 2017 - From September 4 to 6, the Meeting of Delegates for the Salesian Family of the Southern Cone was held, an area that ecompasses the Salesian Provinces of Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay. Coordinated by Fr Eusebio Muñoz, Delegate of the Rector Major for SF, 30 Salesian participants conducted a study of the charter and mission of the Delegates in the task of animating and creating communion among the various branches of the SF, which is growing and demonstrating its desire to be faithful to the charism of Don Bosco. Fr Pier Luigi Cameroni, in charge of the Causes of the Saints of the SF, participated in animating and speaking of the vivacity of holiness in Salesian life.

Naples, Italy - September 2017 - On September 5, the "Mediterranean" community of the City of Naples was inaugurated. Headquartered in the Salesian House "Don Bosco" of Naples, it houses unaccompanied minors. Among those attending the inauguration was Fr Angelo Santorsola, Salesian Provincial of Southern Italy, interviewed by ANS on the theme of the Salesian Mission among immigrants in the South Italy Province.

Phnom Penh, Cambodia - September 2017 - From August 27 to September 2, there was an animation visit to Cambodia by two members of the World Presidency of the Past Pupils of Don Bosco: Alberto Alves Piedade, GEX Asia Councilor, and Angel Gudiña, GEX Vice President. The visit also scheduled meetings in Thailand and Laos.

Santiago, Chile - September 2017 - On September 2, the Solidarity Pilgrimage of Laura Vicuña 2017 was celebrated on the theme: "We are a Family." Over a hundred participants were animated by the Salesian Youth Movement and the heads of the "Señor de Renca" College.
