Lublin, Poland - September 2017 - On September 9, the Salesians of Lublin, Krakow Province (PLS), solemnly celebrated the 90th anniversary of their presence in the city. Fr Tadeusz Rozmus, Councilor for the Central and Northern Europe Region, on an Extraordinary Visit to the Province, presided over the festivities that gathered many people and youths, an expression of gratitude for the history of the Salesians in the city marked by the liveliness of Don Bosco's charism.

Shillong, India - September 2017 – Animation Visit to the new prenovitiate of the Shillong Province, Bosco Home - Herma, by Fr Jose Kuttianimattathil and Fr Silvio Roggia of the Formation Dicastery. Located in the state of Tripura, near the Agartala capital, the prenovitiate was inaugurated last year. The group of 26 prenovices currently living in the community is the second to be hosted in the new formation house. They all come from Shillong Provincial communities and are animated by a team of four confreres, with Fr Payappilly Mathachan as Director.

Kinshasa, D.R. Congo - September 2017 - On 8 September Fr Américo Chaquisse, Councilor for the Africa-Madagascar Region, chaired the inauguration ceremony of Fr Jiménez Manuel Castro as the first Provincial of the new ACC Vice Province - (Africa Congo Congo).

Genzano in Rome, Italy - September 2017 - Fifteen Salesian novices of various Italian and European Provinces made their first religious profession of vows on 8 September at the "Santissima Trinità" parish of Genzano, Rome.

San Antonio de los Altos, Venezuela - September 2017 - From September 1st to September 3rd, the assembly of the Association of Maria Help of Christians (ADMA) of Venezuela, was convened by the National Coordinator, Fr Orlando Gramcko, SDB. During the meeting, experiences were shared, activities evaluated, and a new council was elected for the period 2017-2021.

Quito, Ecuador - September 2017 - The Continental Meeting of Social Communications Delegates, led by Fr Filiberto González, General Counsel for Social Communications, began on 10 September at CSFPA, the Salesian Center for Continuing Education America. During the event's opening, Fr González addressed the 27 participants representing the Provinces of the Continent by saying: "This is a historic meeting because in its integral training program the CSFPA includes Communications not as something marginal to the heart, to spirituality and to the Salesian mission, but as something central to Don Bosco and, therefore, to his sons and daughters who share his spirit and mission." The meeting animated by the CSFPA team, with the contributions of Fr Luis Timossi and Fr Francisco Sánchez, Ecuador Provincial, ends 14 September.
