Santiago, Chile - September 2017 - On 12 September the Chilean capital's circuses filled the streets of the center with dances, performances and acrobatic stunts to celebrate with the 2017 season with the Church. All the artists, accompanied by Chaplain Father Marcio Toniazzo, headed towards the cathedral where they were welcomed by the Archbishop of Santiago, Salesian Cardinal Ricardo Ezzati. "The circus has the task of filling the hearts of people with joy, sympathy and trust, and we must emphasize its humanizing value. I urge you to color the grayness of everyday life. Rzeszów, Poland - September 2017 - On 9 September in the parish of "Divine Providence", belonging to the Krakow Province (PLS), Salesian clerics Paweł Bróż and Marcin Pikor made their perpetual profession of vows. The ceremony was chaired by Fr Marcin Kaznowski, Vicar of the PLS Province, who recalled, among other things, that the essential aim of the professions in the Salesian Congregation was to "be more free in the service of the young."

Bogotá, Colombia - September 2017 - From August 31st to September 3rd, the Formation Congress of the Association of Salesian Cooperators (ASC) of the Pacific South Caribbean Region was held on the theme "From Novelty to Life". During the congress, Sr. Leslye Sandigo, FMA, FMA Representative at the ASC World Consultation, and Noemi Bertola, ASC World Coordinator, presented the guidelines and indications for ASC member formation, and the significance and value of formation towards the growth of vocations; Asmirian Montilla, Regional Coordinator, spoke instead of the importance of economic solidarity in the life of the association and on the sense of family.
