Fianarantsoa, Madagascar - November 2017 - On the occasion of the Blessed Artemis Zatti, November 13, seven young Salesian coadjutors, out of the 17 Salesians in formation, met with the director of the house of Fianarantsoa. In the Madagascar Vice Province, the number of vocations of Salesian Coadjutors is beginning to grow.

Manucho, Argentina - November 2017 - At the end of the Extraordinary Visit to the North Argentina Province, Fr Natale Vitali, Councilor of the America South Cone Region, met with the directors of the Salesian Houses.

Lubumbashi, D.R. Congo - November 2017 - From 8 to 10 November, members of the Provincial Council of Central Africa and Directors of the Salesian centers met for training and review of all the programming of the pastoral year on the Community Project, the Salesian Pastoral Educational Project, and budget forecasts. "Listening, Accompanying, and Discerning" was the theme leading all the activities.

Anisakan, Myanmar - November 2017 - From 12 to 17 November, the Provincial Delegates for Formation of the East Asia-Oceania Region meet. All the representatives of the various Provinces and Vice Provinces, along with the General Councilor for Education, Fr Ivo Coelho, the Regional Coordinator, Salesian Coadjutor Raymond Callo, and the Provincials Fr Lanfranco Fedrigotti (CIN) and Fr Paul Bicomong (FIN). Among the main topics addressed are: formative impact in perspectives on the Congregation as shared by the Rector Major this year; the latest documents of the Church, "The gift of priestly vocation", and "For new wine, new wineskins"; group work on Salesian identity consecrated in the presbyterial form; "Formation is Permanent" (ACG 425); conclusions of Regional Congress of Salesian Laity and formation of shared mission with lay persons. Anisakan is the aspirantate from which the Salesian vocational journey of almost all Myanmar confreres began, including Salesian Cardinal Charles Maung Bo, who will welcome Pope Francis on a visit to Myanmar from 27 to 30 November.

Hong Kong - November 2017 - On 4 November, the Day of Vocational Animation of Hong Kong and Macao took place. Attended by animators from various schools, they discussed and planned vocational animation and participated in a workshop for Vocational Offices.

Yakutsk, Russia - November 2017 - At the invitation of the nearby state school "Xomyctax", the Salesians of the Jakutsk community participated in an exhibition of food produced by pupils to inform of the new strategies being pursued. A delegation of two Salesians, an animator and two young people of the oratory, set up a display of products - including fruit, vegetables, honey, tea, and leather handicrafts - that attracted much attention from the visiting public. Salesian Fr Marian Peciar thanked the School's Director for the opportunity; both institutions, the state school and the Salesian house, share the goal of forming young people for their future.
