Suva, Fiji Islands - November 2017 - On November 19, the ceremony of laying and blessing of the first stone of a new Salesian parish dedicated to Don Bosco in Makoi/Laqere/Wainibuku took place. At the inaugural Mass, presided over by Archbishop Peter Loy Chong, and concelebrated by the Provincial Delegate for the Fiji Islands, Father Petel Vito Pau, more than a thousand people participated among which priests, religious, Salesians and FMA. During the homily, the Archbishop thanked the Salesians for having started this new parish.

Turin, Italy - November 2017 - 440 children of the Salesian Youth Movement from a number of Salesian and Daughters of Mary Help of Christians centers from Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta met on November 19 in Valdocco to discuss the theme of the pastoral year "#none excluded", as per the dynamic of "Already called, not yet perfect." The SYM youth proved to be ready to carry out a series of group activities guided by the animators with moments of animation – stage animation and games involving all the children in the different environments offered by Valdocco - and moments of introspection and prayer. Sister Carmela Busia, Delegate of Youth Ministry of the FMA of Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta, commented: "The image that I take with me from this experience is the attentive gaze of these children who look on and listen desiring true and sincere words."

Ljubljana, Slovenia - November 2017 - On November 22, at the Provincial House in Ljubljana Rakovnik, the community discernment of the Slovenian Province (SLO) took place regarding the choice of the future Provincial. Present: Fr Tadeusz Rozmus, Councilor for the Central and Northern Europe Region.

Quito, Ecuador - November 2017 - On November 25, at the Salesian Center for Permanent Formation of America (CSFPA), there was the formation team meeting with Fr Natale Vitali, Councilor for America South Cone, and Fr Timothy Ploch, Councilor for Interamerica Region.

Yangon, Myanmar - November 2017 – On November 27, Pope Francis landed at Yangon International Airport at 13.20, local time. Upon his arrival, the Pope was received by a Delegate Minister of the President of the Republic. Also present: the Bishops of Myanmar and a hundred children in traditional dress. 

Brasilia, Brazil - November 2017 - On November 22, the meeting of the Salesian Provincials of Brazil, chaired by Fr Natale Vitali, Councilor for the America - South Cone, was held.
