Fiji Islands – Laying and blessing of first stone of a new parish
Suva, Fiji Islands - November 2017 - On November 19, the ceremony of laying and blessing of the first stone of a new Salesian parish dedicated to Don Bosco in Makoi/Laqere/Wainibuku took place. At the inaugural Mass, presided over by Archbishop Peter Loy Chong, and concelebrated by the Provincial Delegate for the Fiji Islands, Father Petel Vito Pau, more than a thousand people participated among which priests, religious, Salesians and FMA. During the homily, the Archbishop thanked the Salesians for having started this new parish.
