Rome, Italy - September 2022 - "It is time to RESTART! For an effective and creative catechesis." This was the theme of the Catechists Campus organized by the Salesian Circumscription Central Italy (ICC) in collaboration with the Institute of Catechetics (UPS), involving parishes and Oratories animated by Salesians of Don Bosco in Rome. The event was held on Saturday, Sept. 17, and Sunday, Sept. 18, at the Salesian Pontifical University, with three objectives: to be re-motivated in the educational and communicative ministry of the faith after the pandemic phase; to reconsider one's catechetical experience considering the three focuses of faith, communication and education; and to have catechists come together to discuss and compare so as to promote an innovative, effective and creative catechesis. There were about 60 participants, including catechists and some young animators who support them in this delicate service.
Castelnuovo Don Bosco, Italy - September 18, 2022 - The annual journey of the Turin Primary ADMA began with the first retreat at Colle Don Bosco where families from Piedmont and Liguria gathered. More than 300 people attended and many children and young people were also present; they spent Sunday alternating play and prayer under the careful guidance of the many animators. Guided by Fr Alejandro Guevara, ADMA's World Spiritual Animator, and Fr Roberto Carelli, the day developed into the various moments of formative and spiritual growth: catechesis, Reconciliation, adoration, rosary, sharing, and the Eucharist. This year's theme is the starting point of every Christian's life: love, that is, how to experience the concrete and sensitive love of God and for God and, consequently, love for others. Each person was created by God's Love and as St. Augustine says, "You made us for yourself, O Lord, and our heart is restless until it rests in you." The monthly commitment is to trust God by praying "Lord, help me to experience your love as a Father."

(ANS - Castelnuovo Don Bosco) - From the Democratic Republic of the Congo to Albania, passing through an internship experience carried out in North Africa: this is the missionary journey that Sébastien Anasamba Levilo, a 28-year-old Salesian still in initial formation, is taking, and which will receive its seal next Sunday, Sept. 25, 2022, on the occasion of the 153rd Salesian Missionary Expedition. Ahead of that moment, which will enshrine a before and after in his life, today he offers us his reflections, considerations, and emotions.
