(ANS - São Paulo) - Don Bosco's Preventive System is a form of pedagogy of freedom that has proven to be suitable for the education of young people. It has its origins in Sacred Scripture, works for future development, is full of promises and prospects. Don Bosco left us the legacy of awakening in educators the disposition to transmit a message of love, work and joy; a message that must be straightforward, direct, without losing its sweetness, frank without being threatening, but above all that must be born from the experience lived by the educator; because Don Bosco built a system from his own experience.

(ANS - Rome) - In this historical moment, with the pandemic raging in many parts of the world and which confines millions of people to live in seclusion, Pope Francis reminds us to "weave stories". "The act of telling is essentially human. We feel the need to tell what happens to us and to others to find the meaning of life," writes S. Kohan. The Pope, for his part, invites us to tell "stories that help us rediscover our roots and the strength to go forward together"; moreover he encourages us “to tell and share constructive stories that help us understand that we are all part of a bigger story than ourselves.”

(ANS – Rome) – Pope Francis has consistently been raising this question: what kind of a world are we leaving behind for the children and young people of today? This is not just an environmental question; it is fundamentally a youth ministry question. Or better, this question highlights why environmental issues and action have today become an integral aspect of youth ministry.
