Jerusalem, Israel - 1907 - Jerusalem is one of the most important religious sites in the world. In 1907 it received the illustrious visit of the Rector Major, Fr Michael Rua. He is seen with students of the Italian school led by a large group of Salesians. As in all his pictures, Don Rua is photographed while doing something particular. In this case, he is holding in his hands two sheets of paper and  an envelope and he has a frown on his face.

Guanabacoa, Cuba - December 1931 - In the photo archive of the Generalate of the Salesian Congregation at the Pisana, there is a photo album of 4 December 1931, in honour of Fr Philip Rinaldi. The album is a tribute to the Successor of Don Bosco, entitled: "To the venerable superior of the Salesian Congregation, Fr Philip Rinaldi, on the 50th anniversary of his priesthood." The Salesians arrived in Cuba in 1917. In the picture can be seen "the general group of students of Inclán - Havana - 1931-1932".

(ANS - Turin) - In 1920 the Salesians were continuing the work started by Don Bosco: the Trade School in Valdocco. They were the first printing workshops organized by the Salesians.

Helenenberg – agosto 1926 – Laboratorio di Falegnameria ad Helenenberg, Germania, presso il “Centro Don Bosco”, che offriva ai giovani corsi tecnico-professionali come falegnameria, sartoria… Attualmente il Centro Don Bosco è un grande complesso che comprende una scuola professionale, un centro di aiuto per i giovani in difficoltà, e attività di assistenza ai giovani emarginati.
