(ANS - Tijuana) - Tijuana has always been a city of immigrants. For years there has been a flow of migrants from the south of the country and the entire continent on their way to the United States. This reality continues but today there is the added presence of all those migrants who are repatriated and deported by US authorities.

(ANS – Kuching) – Fr. Andre Belo, 35 years, originally from ITM Province, East Timor, is the first member assigned officially to the FIN – Malaysia mission for disadvantaged youth in the Kuching Archdiocese. His previous experience in Bangladesh, his knowledge of English and Bahasa Indonesia – Malay, helped him to explore quite deeply the future mission field in August – September 2016.

(ANS - Brussels) – Every 5 October since 1994, UNESCO has celebrated World Teachers' Day. Nowadays the teacher "has become a much criticized figure." Speaking of teachers, Pope Francis has said they are "craftsmen of humanity! And builders of peace and of encounter" and he insisted, saying:" If only governments were aware of the magnitude of their task!" On the occasion of this World Teachers' Day, the NGO "VIA DON BOSCO" decided to "draw attention to the right to access to education around the world."

(ANS - Concepción) - Research shows that teenagers who feel important in a group of friends are more likely to have better family relationships, higher satisfaction in school and greater assertiveness. Don Bosco started the Società dell'Allegria (Joy Club), a group of young people from the streets to make them good Christians. All through Salesian history societies, associations and groups have always been present as meeting places where young people can grow and develop. In the parish of Mary Help of Christians in Concepcion, Paraguay, the National Camp of the Friends of Dominic Savio and the Friends of Laura Vicuña ended on Sunday 25 September.
