Quito, Ecuador - August 2016 - In August, the Regional Councillor, Fr Timothy Ploch, began the extraordinary visitation of the Province of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. He met the Provincial, Fr George Molina, and the Provincial Council. He participated in the Retreat and presided at the Eucharist during which the Salesians renewed their perpetual profession and some made temporary profession.

Alta Gracia, Argentina - August 2016 - On 21 August, in the course of her visit to the FMA in Argentina, the Mother General of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians Sr.Yvonne Reungoat visited the novitiate in the city of Alta Gracia, where she met the Salesian Novices of the American Southern Cone, the young people in formation, and members of the Salesian Family.

Mokambo, Democratic Republic of Congo - August 2016 - About 80 young people from different missionary groups gathered at the Salesian House in Mokambo for a one-week missionary training camp. Mass was celebrated on 9 August to send off the new missionaries. The young people are now engaged in proclaiming the Word of God, service to the poor, and in formation and self-formation in the Mokambo territories of Tera and Mwenda.
