São Paulo, Brazil - August 2016 - The Santa Luzia Social Centre at Jardim Nordeste, east of the capital of São Paulo, celebrated the feast of Don Bosco with the theme "Don Bosco and the Circus,". Throughout the month of August there were various events with circus performances, games, sports, Eucharistic celebrations and moments of prayer. On 26 August the famous clown "Primeiro de Abril" participated, played by the Salesian Fr Dilermando Cozzatti.

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia - August 2016 - From 24 to 31 August Fr Joseph Nguyen Van Quang, Provincial of Vietnam, made a canonical visit to the two Salesian communities of Mongolia: Darkhan and Ulaanbaatar.

Tunja, Colombia - August 2016 - The Extraordinary Visitation by Fr Filiberto González Plasencia, General Councillor General for Social Communication, to the community of Tunya took place from 21 to 24 August. Fr González was welcomed by the young people of the Salesian College "Maldonado".  He told them "Saints, you are all saints, which means you are happy in the life you lead.” Archbishop Luis Augusto Castro Quiroga of Tunya was welcomed ceremoniously.
