Azuay, Ecuador - September 2016 - Fr Timothy Ploch, Councillor General for the Inter-American Region, visited the Salesian Agronomic Educational Unit. He was accompanied by Fr Jorge Molina, Provincial of the Salesians in Ecuador. They held a meeting with young leaders from various Salesian educational institutions in the province of Azuay and the surrounding area.

Calcutta, India - September 2016 - The Don Bosco Technical Institute at "Park Circus", and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Calcutta, organized a workshop on "Skills Development and Innovation - Key for economic growth superior ". It took place on Tuesday 20 September and was attended by about 200 students. The event has been organized for the past 25 years by the Salesian Institute, which has so far helped about 40 thousand students to train and develop their skills and to enter the world of work, with a whole programme of collaboration with industry.

Minsk Mazowiecki, Poland - September 2016 - On 18 September, the Salesian centre of Minsk Mazowiecki, now in its 22nd year of operation, officially inaugurated a new school building. The event was presided over by Fr Andrzej Wujek, Superior of the Warsaw Province (PLE), in the presence of civil and religious authorities. The building, equipped with the latest technologies, has 17 classrooms, a chapel, library, canteen, kitchen, staff room and locker rooms, administrative offices and an assembly hall.
