(ANS – Chennai) – A two-day national symposium was organized by Don Bosco Youth Animation, South Asia, on the theme: ''The Heart of Educating India: Don Bosco System of Education in Dialogue with 21st Century Educators.'' The Symposium was organized on 16th and 17th February 2018 at Don Bosco College of Arts and Science, Chennai, and it was jointly organized by Sacred Heart College, Tirupattur and was partnered by India Didactics Association, New Delhi.

(ANS - Madrid) - A meeting for all the communication agents of the Salesian houses in Spain was held on Saturday 24 February at the Salesian house in Atocha, Madrid. "Not only do we need to have a good story, we also need to know how to tell it," said Fernando Cueto, creative director, advertising manager and blogger in front of 90 participants, as part of the main presentation of this IV Salesian Communication Day.

(ANS - Nairobi) – Four days of deep thought, prayerful moments of reflections, challenging group sharing, inspiring conclusions by the Rector Major, light moments of laughter, a brief outing to the Shrine of Mary Help of Christians … these were the highlights of the Team Visit 2018 at Dimesse Sister Retreat Center, Nairobi. The final day was filled with inspiring and challenging thoughts from the Youth Ministry Sector presented by Fr. Fabio Attard.

(ANS - Nairobi) - The participants in the Team Visit to the Africa-Madagascar Region spent the second day of work, yesterday, 21 February, reflecting on the question posed by the General Councilor for Formation, Fr. Ivo Coelho, in the homily of the Morning Eucharist: "How can we be credible signs of God's love for the young?"

(ANS - Nairobi) - The first day of the Team Visit to the Africa-Madagascar region focussed its attention on the specific theme of the meeting, that is the redesign of Salesian presences. In his introductory address, Rector Major Fr Ángel Fernández Artime, besides mentioning that "the fruits of the Africa Project are splendid," urged participants to foster the quality of the Salesians and ensure that Salesian Africa bears the face of Don Bosco.

The Team Visit to the Salesian "Africa-Madagascar" region starts today, 20 February, at the spiritual house of the "Dimesse Sister" in Karen, near Nairobi, Kenya. In an atmosphere of typically Salesian joy, many Salesians meet again several years after their last meeting.

(ANS - Vatican City) - From 19 to 24 March, 300 young people shall be meeting in Rome for the so-called "Pre-Synodal Meeting": a pre-synod of young people in view of the Synod of Bishops on young people. On Friday, 16 February, there was a press conference to present the forthcoming event.
