(ANS – Mumbai) – To celebrate the 150th anniversary of ADMA, worldwide, which coincides with the 10th Anniversary of ADMA Mumbai, the spiritual director, Fr Anthony Goyal, SDB, conceptualised the “Marian Magic 2019”, which was held on 24 May, 2019, on the occasion of the Feast of Blessed Mother, Mary, Help of Christians.

(ANS - Rome) - "What social networks would Don Bosco operate in today?" This is the question that the directors of the Salesian Bulletins gathered these days at the Centro La Salle were asked by the two speakers, namely Nicola Zamperini and Sandro Cristaldi, who animated the afternoon sessions on the second day of work, Monday 27 May. The answers were not long in coming: "He would use all current digital media," answered Adriana Porterio, Head of the Salesian Bulletin of Uruguay, immediately; while Alejandra Rodríguez, stated categorically that "Don Bosco would, above all, use YouTube."

(ANS - Rome) - The International Meeting of the Salesian Bulletin began yesterday, Sunday 26 May; the first indications that it is a wholly Salesian conference is the joyful cordiality and smiles of its participants: all the Directors and collaborators of the world's Salesian Bulletins, about seventy happy people.

(ANS – Fatumaca) – The Association of Devoted to Mary Help of Christian (ADMA) East Timor gathered together on 11th of May 2019 at the Sanctuary of Mary Help of Christians in Fatumaca to celebrate the admission of 218 new members of ADMA in 2019 from the 35 groups aggregated in East Timor which now, at its 150th anniversary, totals  1,070 members. This is the first time in the history of ADMA East Timor, in its 150-year history, that it comes up with such big numbers of new members.

(ANS – Munich) – In the run-up to the elections at the end of May, there are many discussions in the media and in society about what Europe represents. During the meeting of the Salesian delegates for social communication (09/05-12/05/2019) in Munich it was already noticeable: community.

(ANS – Munich)  Networking, exchange, new ideas. Representatives of the European Don Bosco Publishing houses came together for their biennial meeting, this time in Munich, from May 2 to 5. “I am happy not only to get to know what everybody is up to in the respective publishing houses,” said Stefan Höchstädter, managing director from Don Bosco Verlag in Munich. “It is also a great opportunity to show them our work here in Munich with the strong connection to the young people on Campus Don Bosco – that combines different Salesian institutions next to our publishing house, like our group homes for apprentices.”

(ANS - Veržej) - The meeting of Salesian Provincials in Central and Northern Europe opens tomorrow, May 7, in Veržej, Slovenia. In addition to the participation of as many as 18 Superiors of the region, the appointment will see numerous other Salesian figures, starting with the Rector Major, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime, and the Regional Councilor, Fr Tadeusz Rozmus.

(ANS – Cebu City) – In 23-26 April 2019, Don Bosco Retreat House, Cebu – Don Bosco Technical College in Cebu, hosted the Second Regional Conference for Salesian Institutions of Higher Education (IUS) in East-Asia Oceania (EAO). Four Salesian priests and three lay people coming from three institutions – Don Bosco Technical College Mandaluyong, Don Bosco Technical College (DBTC) Cebu and Don Bosco Technological Institute Port Moresby - attended the conference.

(ANS - Rome) - “'We are members of one another'(Eph 4:25). From social network communities to the human community.” Since the Holy Father launched the theme of the 53rd World Communications Day, the Social Communication and Formation teams of the Salesians of Don Bosco (SDB), of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (FMA), and of Cancão Nova, with support of the Salesian Pontifical University (UPS) and the Faculty of Social Communication Sciences (FSC) began preparations for the Salesian Communication Days, an in-depth meeting with the SDB and FMA youth in the initial formation phase.

(ANS - Granada) - Fr Eusebio Muñoz, Delegate of the Rector Major for the Salesian Family (FS), recently visited Nicaragua and was with the members of the Salesian Family, in particular with the group of the Association of Mary Help of Christians ( ADMA), with whom he celebrated the 150th anniversary of the foundation of the association. The journey was an opportunity to animate and engage the members of a Salesian Family that is growing little by little.
