Asunción, Paraguay - June 2016 –The Don Bosco Spirituality Centre was officially opened with a blessing by Fr Néstor Ledesma, Provincial of Paraguay (PAR). The new centre, set up at the Salesian post-novitiate, is to be a place of reference to promote and strengthen the shared formation in Salesian spirit of lay people and Salesians in Paraguay. Members of the Provincial Commission of Salesian Studies attended the celebration. They are responsible for leading the activities of the formation centre. 

Bollington, Britain - July 2016 - On 3 July, in the parish of St. Gregory, Fr Martin Coyle, Provincial of the Great Britain Province (GBR), received the Perpetual Professions of the confreres Kevin O'Donnell and Joseph Duc Dao Quoc.

Manaus, Brazil - June 2016 - In the month of June the traditional "Junina" festival was celebrated in Salesian works of the "Dom Bosco" colleges of Manaus and Porto Velho, Carmo Belem, Ananindeua and at the Dom Bosco Salesian School.

Nae-Ri, South Korea - July 2016 – On 5 July the young Salesians in initial formation commemorated St. Andrew Kim, the first Korean priest martyr.

Nairobi, Kenya - July 2016 - On 4 July five weeks of intense training in "Communications and media skills for young people and social work" began at "Don Bosco YES". The course is organized by the "Bosco Eastern Africa Multimedia services" (BEAMS), and the Department of Social Communication of the Province of East Africa (AFE). It has five modules of 30 hours and 23 college students are taking part: priests, religious and lay people.

Rosario, Argentina - July 2016 – As part of the project "Guardians of Education", the Salesian House in San Jose, has received in recent months a new Peugeot 408 car from Peugeot Argentina SA and Peugeot Prost SA. With this new vehicle the automobile workshop can give the students professional training that is keeping up with the times.
