Guaruja, Brazil – 13 September 2016 - Fr Natale Vitali, Councillor for the American Southern Cone Region, received the promises of the members of the first group of the Association of Mary Help of Christians (ADMA), in the city of Guaruja.

Nandax, France - August 2016 - From 21 to 25 August Campobosco 2016 was held at the Salesian house of Ressinson, attended by 230 young people. The theme was "Like ton Frere". Participants combined various activities with moments of reflection and prayer to help them to rediscover themselves and others, and to live together with the Salesian Family sharing the values of brotherhood.

Sliema, Malta - August 2016 - Bosco Summer School 2016 was held at the Salesian Oratory in Sliema. It was attended by about 215 young people over a period of 6 weeks.  They played various sports, and engaged in educational, cultural, recreational and artistic activities. The President of the Republic of Malta, Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, and the Parliamentary Secretary for Youth, Chris Agius, were present on the final day 31 August for the presentation of awards.

(ANS – Kolkata) – The Salesians from the city of Saint Mother Teresa, Kolkata, spent an evening at her tomb on 8 September, 2016. The gathering at Kolkata was led by the Provincial, Father Nirmol Gomes and some from the province governing team.

(ANS - Vitoria) - After five years of hard work and great hopes on the part of the entire academic community, years that witnessed the launch of new courses, the construction of a new building and continued growth in the Index General of Courses (IGC) - a quality indicator employed by the Ministry of Education to assess the Institutes of Higher Education - the Salesian Catholic Faculty “Espírito Santo” has had its status changed to "University Centre." On August 31, a solemn ceremony took place for the inauguration of the Rector.

(ANS - Rome) - The Orientation Course for new missionaries who will leave with the 147th Salesian Missionary Expedition began on 1 September with a pilgrimage to the places in Rome associated with St Paul. The participants are 18 in number: 13 practical trainees who are all candidates for priesthood; 2 perpetually professed Salesian Brothers and 3 Salesian priests, one of them newly ordained. Together with other missionaries of the Salesian Family, they will all receive the missionary mandate from the Rector Major on Sunday 25 September in the Basilica of Mary Help of Christians in Turin.
