Nairobi, Kenya - 1st October 2016 - The Bosco Boys Project for needy children in Kuwinda and Langata celebrated community day. The celebrations began with a welcome organized by the Rector, Fr Joseph Minja. The day continued with moments of prayer and various games and sports in which children and young people participated. 

La Paz, Bolivia - September 24, 2016 - Hundreds of children and students of the St Mary Mazzarello Educational Unit went on a peace march to promote dialogue in families and to ask for better security. The march was organized by the communications department of the school.

Nashik, India - September 2016 - Fr Maria Arokiam Kanaga, Councillor for the South Asia Region, launched the book "Oasis of the Works of Mercy" written by Fr Elias Dias, in the presence of Salesians and the faithful in the parish of Don Bosco.

Cartagena, Colombia - September 2016 - With the goal of sharing their experience of priestly ministry, 22 Salesians who were ordained priest in the past five years came together for an interprovincial meeting, which was held from 27 September to 1 October in the house of Sainville in Cartagena.

Los Angeles, United States - September 2016 - From 23 to 25 September there was a vocation discernment meeting organized by the Salesians and the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians. It was attended by nine young people in discernment for SDB life, three young people in discernment for FMA life and three people in discernment to become Salesian Cooperators.

Buenos Aires, Argentina - September 2016 - On 10 September, at the Sagrado Corazón de Jesús Shrine, Alexis Garro, Leonel Cánepa and Nestor Belsun made their Perpetual Profession as Salesians of Don Bosco.
