Lomé, Togo – January 2017 – On January 12th, the celebration of the Salesian Vocations Week began in Lomé on the theme of the Strenna 2017 of the Rector Major “We are Family! Every home, a school of Life and Love”.

Hong Kong – January 15th, 2017 – On January 15th, the Salesian Family of the CIN Province organised a day of presentation and study of the Strenna 2017 of the Rector Major “We are Family! Every home, a school of Life and Love”. Fr. Lanfranco Fedrigotti, Provincial of the Salesians of the CIN Province, guided the activities.

Caracas, Venezuela – January 13th, 2017 –On January 13th there was the Assembly of the Salesians of the Province of “St. Luke” in Venezuela (VEN) on the theme “Prophets of Fraternity”. 87 Salesians, representing 19 of the 27 communities of the VEN Province participated in this event. All the Salesians under formation were also present.

Phnom Penh, Cambodia – January 14th, 2017 – January 14th at the Provincial House of the Daughters of Mary help of Christians the First Day of the Salesian Family of Cambodia was celebrated. The theme was the Strenna 2017 of the Rector Major. About 50 people, comprising SDBs, FMAs, Salesian Cooperators, Past Pupils, Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and candidates of the Volunteers of Don Bosco participated in this event.

Lubumbashi, D.R. Congo – January 15th, 2017 – Over 650 young people of SYM celebrated the feast of Don Bosco in Imara on the theme “The Youth with Don Bosco live Divine Mercy in Our Families”.

La Ceja, Colombia – January 14th, 2017 – On January 14th, at the “Dominic Savio” Salesian College of La Ceja, Province of Medellín (COM), 14 Salesians did their First Religious Profession. Likewise, the Province of Bogota (COB) as well received the First Religious Professions of two young men.
