Recife, Brazil - April 2017 - On April 28 and 29, in the Salesian College of Recife, the Salesian Forum of Radio of the Recife Province (BRE) was established with the participation of about 30 communicators of Salesian Radio or Linked with the Salesian mission in the region. The training event dealt with various topics such as "the profile of the Salesian Communicator", "Radio Today and its Possibilities", religious programming, as well as two workshops on radio language and listening, Mass, prayer and time for sharing experiences.

Parañaque, Philippines - May 2017 - On 1 May, the feast of Saint Joseph the Worker, Cardinal Gaudencio Rosales, DD, Archbishop Emeritus of Manila, presided over the priestly ordination of six Salesians: Joseph Nguyễn Quốc Đại (VIE), Ramil Vispo Maranan (FIN), Joseph Phạm Văn Trường (INC), Juvelan Paul Nangit Samia (FIN), Martino Dủỏng Quốc Huy (VIE), and Marc Will Ramos Lim (FIN).

Bogotá, Colombia - April 2017 -  The Seventh Meeting of formation personnel of the Salesian Family took place on 29 April at the Generalate of the Daughters of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary (HHSSCC).  The 73 members of the various groups of the Salesian Family were able to reflect and study the family theme through lectures and interventions by theologians and experts.

Yaoundé, Cameroon - May 2017 - From 1 May to 5 May, Fr Ivo Coelho, Councillor General for Formation, accompanied by Fr Silvio Roggia from the Formation Department, is visiting the Vice-Province of Tropical Equatorial Africa (ATE). Fr Coelho visited: "Maison Don Bosco", the Interdisciplinary Centre for the Specific Formation of Salesian Brothers; the pre-novitiate of Ebolowa, where he presided over Mass with the young people; the Theological and Pastoral Institute for Religious, the theological school of Ngoya, the Salesian theology centre. On 5 May, after Mass at the theology centre, a visit to Mimboman is scheduled and a meeting with the Council of the ATE Vice-Province. On 6 May, Fr Coelho will leave for Nairobi, Kenya.

Soyapango, El Salvador - April 2017 - On 29 April, at the Don Bosco University, the Rector, Salesian Brother Mario Olmos, gave a conference entitled "The Preventive System: A Spiritual and Educational Experience". The talk was attended by 65 members of the Association of Salesian Cooperators and leaders of various parish movements. The conference was coordinated by the National Councillor of the Apostolate of the Salesian Cooperators in El Salvador.

Podgorica, Montenegro - April 2017 – On 22 April, the "Cirkus Bosko" Juggler Team from the Salesian Youth Centre in Podgorica gave a spectacular performance before a large audience of curious onlookers in the largest shopping centre in Podgorica. They were led by a young leader Ljindon Ljucović, who grew up in the Salesian oratory. The group has been active for three years. It brings together children and young people who are not only Catholics but also Orthodox and Muslims. The goal is not only to entertain the group members and viewers, but to educate, through games, to human values, personal relationships, and a sense of responsibility. Like other groups in the Salesian Centre in Podgorica, it promotes the values ​​of the Preventive System of Don Bosco.
