Riobamba, Ecuador – February 2024 - For the Salesians, devotion to Mary Help of Christians, since the time of Don Bosco, has been significant and fundamental, since their patron placed his life and his educational and evangelising work in the hands of this good Mother. This is why the Salesian community in Riobamba creates spaces that strengthen this devotion among those who are part of it. The members of the ADMA youth group are those who have the mission of promoting devotion to the Help of Christians. Currently it is a group of 29 young people who pray the Rosary on the 24th of each month. Divided into two groups, the boys and girls visit theSanto Tomas Apostol Educational Unita " in Riobamba, boarding house and school. They carry out this activity interactively with them. The image of Mary Help of Christians cannot be missing in all this.

Panjim, India – February 2024 – On 26 February, Salesians in the Province of Panjim, India (INP) came together at Mount Don Bosco, Tuem, Goa, to take part in a triple celebration. It was the celebration of Provincial Community Day, where some jubilees were celebrated and new priests were congratulated. Present for the occasion was Fr Clive Telles, INP Provincial, who thanked the jubilarians for their persistent dedication to the apostolate and mission of Don Bosco in the Province. He also welcomed Fr Anthony D'Souza who, after 36 years of service as a missionary in Africa and Europe, will now be a permanent member of the Salesian Province of Panjim. Subsequently, after a moment of praise addressed to the Provincial Council and to all the Salesians of the Province, commendations were delivered to jubilarians and to the newly ordained Fr Ian Pinto and Fr Nigel Pinto. The day ended with a cultural program created by the Don Bosco High School in Tuem and a moment of fraternal agape.

Venezuela – February 2024 - Mother Aulalia Marín Rueda, Superior of the Institute of the Daughters of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary, is making a canonical visitation to the communities of the Sisters in Venezuela with the aim of strengthening the bonds of unity and charity, encouraging commitment to fidelity to the Constitutions, promoting fraternal relations and fostering personal and community dialogue. The program of Mother Aulalia Marín Rueda's visit includes meetings with government officials at different levels and with those in charge of formation, with the aim of getting to know and promoting the different situations and dynamics of the mission in Venezuela. Strengthening the bonds of unity with the Salesian Family and the particular Church, seeking to consolidate collaboration and mutual support in evangelisation and service. This visit is a valuable opportunity to strengthen the bonds of fraternity, solidarity and commitment in the mission of the Daughters of the Sacred Hearts in Venezuela, as well as to promote spiritual growth, formation and service in response to the needs of the community and society.

Porto Alegre, Brazil – February 2024 – The Provincial Pastoral Commission met with the Provincial Council of the Porto Alegre Provincial Council, Brazil (BPA) on 19 and 20 February. also present was Fr Rafael Bejarano from the Youth Ministry Sector at Salesian Headquarters in Rome and Head of Social Works and Services for the Salesian Congregation. Fr Bejarano led a time of study and reflection on the first day. He presented the work carried out throughout the world by the Salesian Congregation, the commitment to civil society organisations in building bridges for work and in the transformation and re-signification of the Salesian pedagogical model to respond efficiently to the current needs of young people. During the meeting, the progress of pastoral activity planned for 2024 was discussed and guidelines for work in the coming years were proposed. Among the topics on the agenda: the "Oratory: permanent criterion" pastoral year; the 150th anniversary of the first missionary expedition of the Salesians to be celebrated in 2025; the missionary projects of the BPA Province; SYM processes of renewal and work. Fr Rafael Bejarano arrived in the BPA Province to attend the meeting with the Commission and visit the works and social services of the region.

Caracas, Venezuela – February 2024 – As part of the celebrations for the 130th anniversary of the Salesian presence in Venezuela, the first National Meeting of Salesian Schools for Leaders was held from 14 to 18 February, involving young people from the different Houses belonging to the Don Bosco Houses Network (RCDB). The objectives of the meeting were to respond to the needs of the young people of the RCDB, to develop a leadership experience and to make a significant contribution in formation for the country, "good Christians and upright citizens". The formation sessions were led by Fr Felipe Colmenares and by the educators of the Network: Juliana García, Nelson Morfe and Antonio Sánchez. The event was also attended by Fr Rafael Montenegro, Superior of the Salesian St Luke Province of Venezuela (VEN), Fr Jorge Bastidas, Provincial Delegate for Youth Ministry, Fr Víctor Rodríguez, Rector of Don Bosco House in Valencia, and other Salesians.

Astudillo, Spain – February 2024 – A total of 23 young people from all over Castile and León, participated, on 24 and 25 February, in a meeting called "EQUATOR GO!", organised as part of the European youth participation project "Our voice at home: the door to Europe", in which the Federation of Salesian Youth Centres in Castile and León collaborated with "Aspaym CyL" and with the support of the Youth Council of the Autonomous Community. “EQUATOR GO!” took place in Astudillo, coinciding with the Annual Assembly of the Federation of Youth Centres. The objective was to educate young people on European values and, at the same time, to get to know the European Union better, learning to build opportunities and work as a team. It was, therefore, an intense weekend, in which the city of Astudillo, in the midst of the celebrations in honour of Saint Matthias, became the epicentre of enthusiasm, participation and Salesian charism.
