(ANS - Nagasaki) – On 10 September the Roman martyrology recalls the blessed Sebastiano Kimura, Francesco Morales and 50 fellow martyrs who died for Christ in Nagasaki, after terrible suffering. They are part of a group of 205 blessed, all martyred in the second wave of persecution in the country of the rising sun. But evangelization carried out in those lands by many missionaries constituted a seed which, though buried for a long time, has been preserved and continues to bear fruit. Today, they can count on the help of the Salesians and the Salesian Family.
