Brazil – Fourth Salesian Youth Meeting Marks the Start of Pastoral Activities in Niterói-RJ
Niterói, Brazil – February 2025 – Inspired by the 2025 Strenna: “Anchored in Hope, Pilgrims with the Young,” the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM) and the Pastoral Directorate of the Salesian Presence in Niterói, led by Fr. Gutielles dos Reis, hosted the Fourth Salesian Youth Meeting on February 22.
Over 100 young people gathered at the Courtyard of the First Salesian House in Brazil, the Salesian College of Santa Rosa.
The event, which marked the beginning of educational and pastoral activities, opened with the Holy Mass and continued with sports, music, and social activities. Educators highlighted the power of sports in promoting integration, health, and well-being, as well as the values needed to become responsible citizens working for the common good.
