(ANS – Rome) - Today, a vibrant and immediate visual representation of the more complex message of the Strenna has been released: the poster that encapsulates the themes guiding the Salesian Family throughout 2025, the jubilee year. With a rich palette of colors, clear lines, and evident ecclesial and Salesian references, the poster graphically conveys the essence of this special Strenna, conceived by Cardinal Ángel Fernández Artime and developed by Fr Stefano Martoglio, who will fully present it at the end of the year under the theme: “Anchored in Hope, Pilgrims with Young People.”

(ANS – Rome) – The “October 2024 Group” of 12 Salesians concluded its work on the draft of the Ratio on Saturday, 2 November 2024.

(ANS – Rome) – The final word from the new Salesian missionaries comes from Congolese Guy Roger, a missionary in the Province of Southern Italy. "My plans and dreams for my missionary life are to live in communion of spirit and action with my Salesian brothers in IME for the salvation of poor and abandoned young people, according to the heart of Don Bosco and to the greater glory of God".

(ANS – Rome) – Nelson Alves Cabral, from Timor-Leste, has been chosen to be a new Don Bosco for young people in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, as part of the Our Lady of the Assumption Province of Central Africa (AFC). He says to young people today: "Listen to your heart, seek guidance, be open and trust in the journey!"

(ANS – Rome) – Rafael Gašpar is a new Croatian Salesian missionary sent to Brazil. Enthusiastic and charged with his mission, he also invites young people to discern their path: "The deepest dream that you carry in your heart is the same that God has for you. It is the dream that he dreamed from the moment he created us. So, dare to follow him and dare to be happy."

(ANS – Rome) – The "Corso Respiro" which started on 12 September 2024 at Colle Don Bosco, ended on 26 October in Rome. Sixteen Salesians took part, three Sisters of Charity of Jesus (SCG), two Missionary Sisters of Mary Help of Christians (MSMHC), two Sisters of the Visitation of Don Bosco (VSDB), and a Salesian Cooperator, a total of 24 participants from Pakistan, Turkey, Tanzania, Samoa, South Sudan, Nigeria, India, the Philippines, Japan, Eritrea, Cambodia, Brazil, Botswana, Azerbaijan. The course, in English, was organised by the Missions Sector, coordinated by Fr Reginaldo Cordeiro.

    (ANS - Rome) - Don Bosco is perhaps the most amazing and fascinating saint, history has ever produced. The humble work which he began for the welfare of his poor and abandoned boys in Italy has produced astonishing results, and today there are nearly 14000 Salesians working in 138 countries, and there are more than 200,000 members belonging to the 32 groups of the worldwide Salesian Family sharing the charism of Don Bosco and reaching out to the needy young people.

    (ANS – Shillong) – The Youth of St John Paul II, Shillong Province, celebrated the Feast Day of St. John Bosco with the Grand Finale of “Ka Sur Kynud, Season 3.” Organised by Don Bosco Media Network Television, the Social Communication Department of the Province, at Don Bosco Youth Centre, Laitumkhrah, Shillong, this two-month-long singing competition, which imitates the global singing competition The Voice, concluded on 31 January 2025, coinciding with the Solemnity of St John Bosco.

    (ANS – Rome) - The figure of St. Francis de Sales, chosen by Don Bosco as an example of a communicator, teaches that communication is a matter of the heart. In his expression, "Everything in the Church is love: everything lives in love, for love, and of love," we understand his revolution in the way of communicating, and how communication becomes fruitful when it allows communion and the exchange of one's experiences in a path of accompaniment and collaboration in God's project.
