(ANS Castelnuovo Don Bosco) A very special meeting took place last Sunday, August 4, at Colle Don Bosco, where Don Bosco grew and matured: the meeting between Fr Ángel Fernández Artime, who as Rector Major is called to lead the entire Salesian Congregation, and 36 young prenovices, who are still in a phase of attentive discernment of their own vocation; the meeting, as it was, of a father with many little children in their search.

(ANS – Castelnuovo Don Bosco) – Swimming, relaxing and getting to know Don Bosco. From 14 July to 18 August around 500 young people will experience a very special summer camp, following the invitation of the German Salesian province at the Colle Don Bosco near Turin in Italy, where Don Bosco grew up. “Here we have fun, but also can learn something and we can see something from the world,” says a 27-year old participant from the “Don Bosco Haus” in Chemnitz (Saxony).

(ANS - Mornese) – On 5 August 2019, from the Rooms of Mother Mazzarello in Mornese, Italy, Mother Yvonne Reungoat officially opens the Triennial of preparation for the 150th of the Foundation of the Institute of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (1872-2022). A day of remembrance and of the future, of gratitude and of fidelity that projects the FMA Institute forward with hope. August 5 is an opportunity to return to the evangelical and charismatic sources, to the motivations that give meaning to Salesian life and mission. It is an event of grace that leads us profoundly into the roots of the Salesian vocation.

Rome, Italy - July 2019 - The summer activities that the "Borgo Ragazzi Don Bosco" organizes every year for children, young people and families of the territory have come to an end.
