Rome, Italy - 1966 - On 29 October 1966, St. Paul VI visited the new Salesian Pontifical Athenaeum, presiding over the official inauguration. He was welcomed by the Grand Chancellor and Rector Major of the Salesians, Fr Luigi Ricceri, and by Fr Gino Corallo, Rector of the University.
Sarrià (Barcelona), Spain - 1900 - From 11 to 14 August 1900, the first Spanish Provincial Chapter was held in the Sarrià district of Barcelona, under the direction of Fr Filippo Rinaldi. In the photograph, preserved in the Archives of the Salesian Historical Center of Carabanchel, all the members of this first Provincial Chapter are portrayed.
Bogotà, Colombia - 1891 - The first Salesians in Colombia in a photo that portrays them together with the musical band. According to data from the Salesian Historic Center of the St Peter Claver Province of Bogotà, the photograph was taken at the beginning of August 1891, right after the band's first public concert.
