During the working sessions, several fundamental topics for consolidating the SGIC were addressed. These included an analysis of the perspectives of the Salesian Educational Model to identify strategies that promote continuous improvement and ensure its effective integration across all Salesian works in the Province. Additionally, strategic guidelines for the 2026-2032 six-year management plan were outlined, establishing directions to enhance planning and the system’s long-term impact.
The review also covered the ISO 9001 Appendix document, highlighting regulatory updates and assessing their effects on the quality of administrative and educational processes. Finally, the importance of impact indicators as measurement tools was emphasized, ensuring an accurate analysis of the scope and effectiveness of implemented initiatives. These indicators support informed decision-making for the continuous improvement of processes.
The work of this provincial team is essential, as it allows for the coordination of all Salesian works under an Integrated Management System that ensures high-quality standards. Thanks to this effort, the Salesian works of the COM Province have become benchmarks in education and training, achieving certifications such as ISO 9001 for quality management, ISO 21001 for educational institutions, ISO 14001 for environmental management, and NTC 5555 for technical training.
