Czerwińsk nad Wisłą, Poland – August 2024 -The 31st Campo Bosco took place In the youth capital of the Salesian Province of Warsaw, Czerwińsk nad Wisłą. It is an event that for years has brought together young people who want to spend their last days on holiday in the Salesian spirit. This year, from 22-25 August, more than 400 people participated in the festival focused on the theme of Don Bosco's dream at  9 years of age, which this year celebrates its 200th anniversary. Unique artists performed on stage: the winner of the 5th "The Voice of Poland" Ola Nizio, the Siewcy Lednica Group, rapper Edzio and Monika Giergiel - who warmed the audience with their passion, energy and joy. Various speakers alternated on stage. Their testimonies and their stories made many young people reflect, giving them a new and different perspective on life. There were also shows inspired by Don Bosco's dream at 9 years of age, workshops where young people could learn Argentine tango, circus art and games, moments of prayer and reflection. The organisers of the event were the Salesians from the Province of Warsaw (PLE) and the Province of Piła (PLN), as well as the Salesian Sisters from the Province of Warsaw (PLJ).

Brasilia, Brazil – August 2024 – From 23 to 25 August, Brasilia was the venue for the 3rd Salesian Youth Meeting in the Province of Belo Horizonte (BBH). It brought together more than 400 young people from different states in Brazil. The event, full of moments of spirituality, celebration and fraternity, reaffirmed the commitment of young people to the Salesian mission and the legacy of Don Bosco. The meeting began on Friday 23 August with the reception of young people at CESAM-DF and at the Salesian School in Brasília. In the evening the young people went to the Don Bosco Shrine, where they participated in the Eucharistic Celebration presided over by Fr Natale Vitali, BBH Provincial. The second day of activity at the Don Bosco Shrine was marked by moments of prayer and testimonies from the FMA. Immediately afterwards, a Eucharistic celebration presided over by Cardinal Paulo Cezar Costa, Archbishop of Brasilia, brought words of encouragement and stressed the importance of Don Bosco's legacy for young people. The Saturday afternoon was dedicated to various oratorical activities and to the Vigil/Adoration led by Fr José Ricardo, Delegate for Salesian Youth Ministry, who offered young people a deep spiritual experience and moments of reflection. On the last day the young people made a pilgrimage to the Cathedral in Brasilia and participated in the Mass in honour of Don Bosco presided over by Bishop Ricardo Hoepers, Auxiliary Bishop of Brasilia.

Rome, Italy – August 2024 - The Provincial Assembly of the Salesians of Central Italy opened on the morning of 29 August, with the Eucharistic Celebration. It is a traditional appointment for all the Educative and Pastoral Communities of the Sacred Heart Salesian Circumscription (ICC), with which the pastoral and educational year began. It was focused on the jubilee theme "Hope does not disappoint". The installation of Fr Roberto Colameo as Superior of the ICC Circumscription was celebrated during the Mass presided over by Fr Juan Carlos Pérez Godoy, Councillor for the Mediterranean Region. The presence of Salesians from all the regions of the Circumscription was considerable, together with lay people, leaders of the EPC Councils, young people from the Salesian Youth Movement, Salesian Cooperators, past pupils and members of the Salesian Family. There are also numerous Daughters of Mary Help of Christians from both Provinces led by Sister Elide Degiovanni, ILS Provincial, and Sister Gabriella Garofoli, IRO Provincial who together with the Salesians plan and dream at various levels of youth animation, education and pastoral care for young people in this vast territory. The celebration was also attended by Bishop Paolo Ricciardi, Auxiliary Bishop of Rome, East Sector, and Archbishop Giuseppe Mani, Archbishop Emeritus of Cagliari. Finally came the moment of thanks to Fr Stefano Esperettati who, at the end of his mandate, thanked everyone "for these six years of journey, of great growth for me, for my faith, for my ability to listen", wishing his successor may have a strong experience of listening and fatherhood.

Bolivia – August 2024 - Our Lady of Copacabana Province Bolivia (BOL) receives a visit from Fr Hugo Orozco, Councillor for the Interamerica Region. Bolivia is one of the 18 countries of the Interamerica Region visited by the Councillor. During his stay in the country, from August to September, Fr Orozco will visit all the Salesians of Don Bosco works. For two months he will have to feel the pulse of the development of the pastoral mission and of the work of collaboration between lay people and Salesians. The first city that the Councillor visited was Santa Cruz where he had meetings, talks and conversations, especially with young people involved in the charism of the speakers, youth centres and schools of Don Bosco. Towards the end of August, Fr Orozco had an interview with the staff working at the provincial headquarters, underlining that his goal is to listen, converse, accompany and encourage the work of the Salesians in the works. A job that allows Bolivia to connect with the Rector Major and his Council. With his close and cheerful presence, Fr Orozco motivated those present to continue working, to think big, to think about the future. In addition, he invited them to take a step forward in the vocational options of the Salesian Family and above all to maintain the joy that characterises the Salesian charism.
