São Paulo, Brazil – June 2016 – The past pupils of the Course of Informatics of the Salesian University Centre of São Paulo, Americana, Jéssica Aparecida Paulino de Freitas and André Ricardo de Melo Ulle were awarded prizes by the Brazilian Society of Informatics as “Outstanding Students”.

Jerusalem, Israel – June 12th, 2016 – On June 12th, in St. Anne’s Basilica in Jerusalem, the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, His Beatitude Fouad Twal, ordained 14 young deacons, 11 Salesians and 3 Missionaries of Africa. At the ceremony were also present Fr. Ivo Coelho, General Councillor for Formation, Fr. Timothy Ploch, Councillor for Interamerica Region, bishops, priests, many Salesians, and other guests of the Salesian community of Ratisbonne, whose Rector is Fr. Andrew Wong.

Recife, Brazil – May 28th, 2016 – With the intent of orienting and accompanying the youth in their way of communication, the Departments of Social Communication and Vocational Youth Minisgtry of the FMA Province of 'Mary Help o Christians’ perfomed another edition of the “Young Leader Communicators" Project”, called “SnapChat”. The participants, young animators of communication and young people under formation, aspirants and postulants both of FMAs and Salesians, together with students of the 7th year of the basic school, reflected on the use of “SnapChat" social network which is rapidly extending among the young.
