D.R. Congo - Missionary camp for children
Kafubu, D.R. Congo - The children's ministry from the Salesian Province of Central Africa (AFC) held a missionary camp for children on 6 and 9 July in Kafubu on the theme "Behold the servant of the Lord". The initiative's objective is to help children spread the missionary spirit through free service, volunteering and following the example of the Blessed Virgin Mary as a model of mission. The camp wants to be an encouragement for missionary children to help children become missionaries themselves. During the missionary camp, Fr Placide Carava blessed the children and Fr Albert Kabuge, AFC Provincial, presided over Mass and gave the children rosaries and mission medals.
