Angola - Salesian Cardinal Daniel Sturla visits Don Bosco School
Luanda, Angola - July 2019 - Salesian Cardinal Daniel Sturla, archbishop of Montevideo, Uruguay, is currently leading the spiritual retreat of the Salesians of the Angola Vice Province (ANG), which takes place in Cala, east of the capital Luanda. Cardinal Sturla, among other things, visited the nascent school "Don Bosco", on the outskirts of the capital. "The Don Bosco School is a settlement near Luanda. The beginnings are very poor but full of hope," the cardinal wrote in his Twitter account. The Salesian Cardinal was surprised by the generosity of the people. "The offers of the Mass are very concrete. The poor share what they have and live their Catholic faith with joy."
