Colombia - Over 300 young people of SYM for feast of Don Bosco
Medellín, Colombia - February 2018 - On 3 February, at the parish of Our Lady of Suffrage, over 300 young people from the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM) of the groups of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (FMA) and Salesians gathered to celebrate Don Bosco. The Eucharist was presided over by Fr. John Jairo Gómez, Provincial of the Salesian Province of Medellín. During his homily, inspired by the Rector Major's address to young people, he invited participants to "seek happiness", to "be happy and make others happy", pointing out that to do this "it is necessary to open one's heart to God." The Provincial also added that on this path the young people were not alone and he urged them to be accompanied by people who oriented them, Salesians and FMA.
