Poland - Salesian School of Świętochłowice celebrates 25 years
Świętochłowice, Poland - October 2017 - On October 10, the Salesian School of Świętochłowice, Kraków Province (PLS), celebrated its 25th anniversary. Numerous authorities attended the festivities, including the guest of honor, Fr Tadeusz Rozmus, Councilor for the Central and North Europe Region, and the school's first director. Also present: Fr Adam Parszywka, PLS Provincial, and the Salesians who worked or are working in the school, teachers, students and past pupils. Celebrations began with the Eucharist presided over by Mgr. Adam Wodarczyk, auxiliary bishop of Katowice, and continued at the Cultural Center "Slesia" with dances, songs, and various presentations, including a talk by the Salesian School Director Fr Wiktor Szlęzak.
