Ayagualo, El Salvador - October 2017 - In the "Sagrado Corazón de Jesús" Center, those charged with the Professional Training Centers of the Salesian Houses of the Center of America Center (CAM) convened. The meeting's aim was to explore the strategic plan for 2017-2022; give continuity to the commitments undertaken in the 2016 meeting; study and evaluate the process of aligning school credits and accreditation, with the standardization of training at work. The encounter was also a time of technical and Salesian formation with topics discussed relating to the Rector Major's Strenna 2018 on the encounter with people, the art of listening and accompanying. In addition, issues relating to dual vocational training, sustainability of the production sector, generational skills and their impact on the world of work were analyzed.
