El Salvador – Annual General Assembly of the Salesian Foundation “Salvador del Mundo” (FUSALMO)
Soyapango, El Salvador – March 2025 – On March 19, the Salvador del Mundo Salesian Foundation (Saviour of the World Foundation - FUSALMO- Fundación Salvador del Mund) held its General Assembly, a key moment for reviewing achievements, challenges, and the future direction of its projects.
The day began with a heartwarming Mass presided over by Fr. René Antonio Santos, Vice Provincial of the Salesian Province of Central America (CAM), accompanied by Fr. Edward de la O, Provincial Economer, Fr. Miguel Alfaro, and Fr. Pierre M. Vitelli, President of FUSALMO. During the homily, Fr. Santos highlighted St. Joseph as a model of faith, dedication, and hope. “Let us not lose faith, dreams, or hope in the mission God has entrusted to us. We are witnesses of life and guides for young people, just like St. Joseph,” he said.
Following the Mass, the assembly featured a presentation of last year’s results and a discussion on future projects. This gathering reaffirmed FUSALMO's commitment to supporting young people and developing initiatives that contribute to the well-being of the community.
