Jaboatão dos Guararapes, Brazil - July 2021 - The annual meeting of Salesians in formation began on 27 July in the Retreat House of Jaboatão-Colônia, which includes pre-novices, post-novices, trainees and theology students. The event is led by Fr Carlos Mendes Júnior, Coordinator of the Commission for Formation of the Province of Brazil-Recife (BRE). July 27 was dedicated to a Day of Spirituality; July 28 was animated by theology students with an in-depth study and contact with the provincial mission. On 29 July, with the animation of the pre-novices, the in-depth theme will be on human formation; and finally on 30 July the Salesians in formation will meet with the other Salesians for the celebration of the feast day of the Provincial community.
