Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea - June 4, 2020 - In view of World Environment Day, celebrated on June 5, the students and staff members of the "Don Bosco Technological Institute" of Boroko, in Port Moresby, met for an awareness meeting on the importance of protecting the environment and nature. During the event, organized by the "Earth & Environment" and "Media Education Seminar" clubs, the current state of the environment at the global level was presented; various ways in which the mass media can raise awareness of the care of creation were illustrated; and a video on climate change and on the actions that in their own small way everyone can do to safeguard the planet Earth was projected.
