Anisakan, Myanmar - April 2016 - The Provincial Chapter of the Vice-Province of Myanmar began on 4 April. It was presided over by the Superior, Fr Charles Saw, and moderated by Fr Mariano Soe.

Senec, Slovakia - April 2, 2016 - On 2 April over 100 people attended the study day on the Servant of God and martyr Fr Titus Zeman, SDB. The event was entitled: "Titus Zeman, a Salesian merciful unto martyrdom." It was organized by the Faculty of Canon Law at the Salesian Pontifical University in Senec, Slovakia. After the words of welcome by prof. Fr Pudumai Doss, Dean of the Faculty, there were talks given by Fr Jozef Slivoň, former vice-postulator of the Cause of the Servant of God, Helena Barátová, who helped draft the positio and Michal Titus Radošinský, nephew of Titus. At the end Marta Mária Augustinova read the poem: "God's solution."

Turin, Italy – 6 April 2016 - Yesterday the ceremony of entrustment took place of the casket of Don Bosco to be brought to Panama. Among those present were Miroslava Rosas Vargas, Ambassador of Panama to the Holy See, and Archbishop José Domingo Ulloa of Panama. The arrival of the casket in Panama is scheduled for 16 April.

Ayagualo, El Salvador - April 2016 - From 29 March to 2 April Fr Miguel Ángel García, member of the Department for Youth Ministry, led a formation course on "What it means to be local Youth Ministry Coordinator".  The event was attended by Salesians and lay people who work in the field of local Youth Ministry and by some Delegates from the sectors of Vocations and Social Communication.

Asunción, Paraguay - April 2016 - Young people from the Salesian parish of St Vincent de Paul organized a day of mission on behalf of those affected by the flood. They went to their shelters and shared songs, games and a snack with the children and teenagers. 

Negombo, Sri Lanka - April 2016 - A meeting of the "Don Bosco Communications South Asia" (BOSCOM) took place on 2/3 April. It was chaired by Fr Godfrey D'Souza, Provincial of Mumbai and Representative for Social Communication. It was attended by Fr Joseph Almeida, Superior of Sri Lanka, Fr. Noel Maddichetty, Secretary to the Salesian Provincial Conference of South Asia, Fr Joaquim Fernandes, Regional Delegate of Boscom South Asia, Fr A. Raj, Executive Secretary, and the Delegates of the Provinces of the South Asia region.
