(ANS - Turin) - The Association of Mary Help of Christians (ADMA), the fourth group of the Salesian Family, founded by Don Bosco himself in 1869, is pleased to announce its new website: www.admadonbosco.org. The website, which is already operational, will be relaunched completely renewed in graphics and content on May 24, on the occasion of the feast of Mary Help of Christians.
(ANS - Rome) - On the day on which the Salesian Family commemorates Saint Dominic Savio - yesterday, 6 May - and in the church dedicated to him in Rome, the Rector Major, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime, presided at the Eucharist wherein he welcomed the perpetual vows of eight young Salesians from 4 different continents.
Rome, Italy - May 2021 - Yesterday, Thursday 6 May, at the Church of San Domenico Savio in Rome, the Rector Major, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime, presided over the celebration during which eight Salesians made their perpetual profession: Charles Carl Enrico, Dias Aquino Mazarelo, Gaetan Alphonço Rabenasolo, Kim Hyung Seok Dominic Savio, Nzota Deusdedit Eliezer, Sebamalai Saram Sathiyathas, Sukkienik Krystian and Uwizeyimana Jean Claude. “Dear young confreres - the 10th Successor of Don Bosco told them - you offer your life to God to live it with true passion”.
(ANS - Sesto San Giovanni) - In a regional context that sees huge competition in the sector of Vocational Training, the Salesian Institute of Sesto San Giovanni represents a touchstone and a model to imitate for many. "Among the excellences there is our Mechatronics institute, which records an employment index of its graduates equal to 98%," underlines Fr Elio Cesari, Director of the institute, one of the largest in Europe.
(ANS – Palermo) – Forty students attending the Salesian oratory in the community of “Santa Chiara” in Palermo, Italy, had access to school supplies, including tablets for online learning as well as pens, pencils and notebooks thanks to donor funding from Salesian Missions, the U.S. development arm of the Salesians of Don Bosco. The funding also covered the costs for sanitizing gels, a machine to sanitize rooms and food for the families of the children at the oratory.
(ANS - Rome) - The opening session of the diocesan inquiry on the life, heroic virtues and reputation of holiness and signs of Servant of God Rosetta Marchese, professed religious of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians Institute, took place on Friday 30 April 2021. During the opening session, the members of the diocesan Tribunal were sworn in: the Episcopal Delegate, Msgr. Giuseppe D’Alonzo; the Promoter of Justice, Fr Giorgio Ciucci; the Actuary Notary Marcello Terramani; the deputy notary Giancarlo Bracchi; and subsequently, also the Postulator, Fr Pierluigi Cameroni, SDB, and the Vice Postulator Sr. Francesca Caggiano, FMA.

RMG – Don Bosco: “The Fascinating Saint”
(ANS - Rome) - Don Bosco is perhaps the most amazing and fascinating saint, history has ever produced. The humble work which he began for the welfare of his poor and abandoned boys in Italy has produced astonishing results, and today there are nearly 14000 Salesians working in 138 countries, and there are more than 200,000 members belonging to the 32 groups of the worldwide Salesian Family sharing the charism of Don Bosco and reaching out to the needy young people.

India – INS youth solemnise Don Bosco’s Feast Day with ‘Ka Sur Kynud S-3’ Grand Finale
(ANS – Shillong) – The Youth of St John Paul II, Shillong Province, celebrated the Feast Day of St. John Bosco with the Grand Finale of “Ka Sur Kynud, Season 3.” Organised by Don Bosco Media Network Television, the Social Communication Department of the Province, at Don Bosco Youth Centre, Laitumkhrah, Shillong, this two-month-long singing competition, which imitates the global singing competition The Voice, concluded on 31 January 2025, coinciding with the Solemnity of St John Bosco.

United States – CATHOLIC WORLD DAY OF THE SICK: Salesian Missions highlights medical programs for people in need around the globe
(ANS – New Rochelle) – Salesian Missions, the U.S. development arm of the Salesians of Don Bosco, joins Catholic organizations around the globe in honoring the Catholic World Day of the Sick. Every year on Feb. 11, the Pope marks the day with a special message calling for spiritual and physical closeness to all those who are ill. Saint John Paul II instituted the day “to encourage the people of God, Catholic health institutions and civil society to be increasingly attentive to the sick and to those who care for them.”
