(ANS – Campo Grande) – On Wednesday 27 November, during a Provincial Assembly held in Cuiabá, the Regional Councillor for America South Cone, Fr Gabriel Romero, officially concluded his Extraordinary Visitation to the St Alphonsus Liguori Province of Campo Grande Brazil (BCG), also known in the country as the "Salesian Mission of Mato Grosso".

(ANS – Rome) – On 25 and 27 November 2024, the first online meeting was held for Leaders and Promoters of the Causes of Beatification and Canonisation belonging to the Salesian Family. Coordinated by Fr Pierluigi Cameroni, Postulator General, it was attended by more than 40 people representing the various Causes scattered around the world.

(ANS – Beirut) – The agreement for a truce in Lebanon, which entered into force in the early hours of Wednesday, 27 November 2024, is "a reason for joy and hope, so that the situation in the Middle East can become more stable," says Fr Alejandro León, one of the Salesian missionaries who is working on the coordination of Salesian operations for the emergency in the Middle East.

Vadodara, India – November 2024 – In order to learn more about the challenges of migration, the Diocese of Baroda organised a consultation on migration at the Don Bosco Church Hall in Makarpura, Vadodara, on 19 November. The event brought together priests, religious, representatives of NGOs, members of trade unions and numerous participants interested in strengthening collaboration and defending the rights of Gujarat's migrant communities. Those present were welcomed with a welcome speech by Fr Baptist Monteiro, Rector of Don Bosco Snehalaya. Fr Francis Bosco, South Asia Coordinator for Migrant Ministry, then spoke, shedding light on the critical issues and challenges faced by migrants, in particular irregular workers. The participants then took part in group discussions which focused on feasible strategies to support migrants. At the end of the consultation, a committee was established that will undertake to put into practice all the suggestions expressed during the meeting. As a sign of gratitude, saplings were donated to symbolise the growth and hope that this initiative aims to inspire.
