(ANS – Kankan) – Salesian missionaries have improved the socio-economic living conditions of youth and young adults through job market training in Kankan and Siguiri, Guinea. The funding for the project came from Salesian Missions, the U.S. development arm of the Salesians of Don Bosco.

(ANS – Guwahati) – A study on the migration population in the Satgaon parish in the Province of Guwahati revealed trends in the community. According to the survey, 1,596 individuals from Satgaon Parish, 932 males, and 664 females, have migrated to various parts of the country for work.

(ANS – Buenos Aires) – The American Salesian Missionary Congress "Entrelazando Caminos" (Interweaving Paths), scheduled in Buenos Aires from 19 to 22 May 2025, has already started. Although there are still several months to go before it really happens and two of those digital moments of preparation and formation called "Preparatory Dialogues" have yet to take place, the organising committee for the event announces that the call is open to present reports and posters related to "Salesian missions" to the Congress.

(ANS – Munich) – First steps towards a possible new chapter in the history of the Salesians in Germany and Austria: on December 11/12, the Provincial Councils of the two provinces met again for the first time in seven years to discuss the future of their cooperation. Reason for the meeting were the deliberations of the provincial chapter of the Austrian province in spring this year regarding a possible merger of the two German-speaking provinces, which up to now had been structurally independent.
