La Paz, Bolivia – November 2024 – On 30 November in the municipality of Escoma, in the department of La Paz, Limbert Mamani made his perpetual profession as a Salesian of Don Bosco before Fr Líder Justinian, Superior of the Province of Bolivia (BOL). The ceremony was attended by numerous Salesians, parents of the newly-professed, students from the school where he works and young people from the Salesian Youth Movement.

(ANS - Valencia) - After a year full of celebrations, the 125th anniversary of the Salesian house of San Antonio Abad in Valencia came to a close on 1 December. The Rector, Fr Santiago Muñoz, presided over a commemorative Eucharist concelebrated by the Salesians in the Salesian community and attended by a large number of parishioners, members of the Salesian Family and the pastoral education community, among others.
(ANS - Goma) - On Sunday, 8 December 2024, the new girls' boarding school at the “Foyer Anuarite”, located at the Don Bosco Ngangi Youth Centre in Goma, was opened. The project was financed by the German Salesian Mission Office Don Bosco Mission Bonn, and is part of the ‘Afrique Centrale 23-122’ initiative, which aims to support the socio-economic reintegration of vulnerable girls, particularly those affected by the ongoing conflict between the army and rebel factions and by gender-based violence in North Kivu Province.
