01. Meruri, Brazil – March 2024 – The animation visit to the Campo Grande Province by Cardinal Ángel Fernández Artime, Rector Major, reached its peak with stops at the Salesian missions in Meruri and São Marcos, where he met Salesians, Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, volunteers and indigenous peoples.
02. Rome, Italy – March 2024 - On Friday, 22 March 2024, the day on which the Borgo Ragazzi Don Bosco concluded celebrations for its 75 years of existence, Cardinal Ángel Fernández Artime, Rector Major of the Salesians, met with the boys and the entire Salesian community there.
03.Rome, Italy – March 2024 - The St Joseph Cafasso Salesian Community in Testaccio joyfully hosted Fr Stefano Martoglio, Vicar of the Rector Major, for the Extraordinary Visitation held from 8 to 11 March.
04. Rome, Italy – March 2024 – The Pontifical Salesian University organised a Conference from 1 to 3 March on the theme "Youth and sexuality: Challenges, criteria and educational paths", involving the General Councillor for Youth Ministry, Fr Miguel Angel García Morcuende, and, on the last day, also Cardinal Ángel Fernández Artime, Rector Major, who presided over the Eucharist.
05. Amatitán, Mexico – March 2024 – The 30th anniversary of CRESCO-America, a specific formation community for Salesian Brothers from the Salesian Provinces of America, was celebrated from 3 to 10 March. The event was attended by Fr Pascual Chávez, Rector Major Emeritus, Fr Guido Errico, of the Formation Sector, Fr Filiberto González, Superior of the Province of Mexico-Guadalajara, and 35 Salesian Brothers.
06. Lahore, Pakistan – March 2024 - On 15 March at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Cathedral in Lahore, Archbishop Sebastian Francis Shaw, OFM, officially closed the diocesan Inquiry into the life, martyrdom and reputation of martyrdom and signs of the Servant of God Akash Bashir (22 June 1994 - 15 March 2015), a Salesian past pupil.
07. Rome, Italy – March 2024 – The Pontifical Salesian University hosted the world meeting of Salesian Missionary Volunteer coordinators, convened by the Sectors for Missions and Youth Ministry, with 47 participants, including Salesians and lay people, from 32 Provinces and 27 different countries.
08. Warsaw, Poland – March 2024 – The Councillor for the Central and North Europe Region, Fr Roman Jachimowicz, officially concluded, on 13 March, the Extraordinary Visitation to the Salesian Province of Poland-Warsaw (PLE), conducted in the name of the Rector Major.
