(ANS - Mogliano Veneto) - On the centenary of the First World War, with publications in progress and controversy in the interpretation of the same, the Italian Salesian Family presents the contribution it made to the country, both on the war front where there were dozens of deaths and serious injuries, and in the various hospitals where the Salesians and the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians did charitable works. Tomorrow, Saturday 14 May, in Mogliano Veneto there will be a national study congress on "Salesians and Daughters of Mary Help of Christians during the Great War".
(ANS - Rome) - Being alert and conscious communicators, knowing that presence on the Internet is one of the signs of the times to be accepted and used as a gift of God - this was the central theme of the 2016 Salesian Communication Days. This is now the fifth year of this initiative which took place in Rome at the Salesian Pontifical University on 29 and 30 April. Over 160 members of the Salesian Family in formation took part to study the Pope’s message for the 50th World Social Communications Day.
(ANS - Rome) - This year also, the theme of the Pope’s message for World Communications Day will be the topic of study and research for the members in formation of the Salesian Family. The Salesian Communication Days are scheduled to take place on 29 and 30 April at the Salesian Pontifical University (UPS) in Rome. They will involve listening, discussion and practice and are meant as a training opportunity for young religious and laity to be good communicators in a rapidly changing world.
(ANS - Panama City) - A relic of the patron of youth, S. John Bosco, arrived in Panama City on the morning of Saturday 16 April. Immediately, right from the airport of Tocumen, Don Bosco was welcomed by a long procession of hundreds of faithful, led by the Metropolitan Archbishop José Domingo Ulloa.
