Lisbon, Portugal - 1939 - A moment of the feast in honor of Don Bosco, presided over by the Apostolic Nuncio at the time, Pietro Ciriaci. The image, dating from 1939, was taken in the city of Lisbon and depicts the many faithful gathered to pay homage to Don Bosco.

Seville, Spain - 1946 - The celebration for the Day of the Three Kings is the protagonist of this photograph, dating back to 1946 and taken in the courtyard of the Salesian house in Triana. Specifically, we see in the image the unfolding of a charity luncheon, a very important and traditional event of Three Kings Day. The Salesian Home in Triana is preparing to celebrate the centenary of its institutional foundation. It was in fact inaugurated on October 1, 1935, after a long construction process that began with the official laying of the foundation stone in 1926.

Lisbon, Portugal - 1939 - Immortalized in this photograph, dated 1939, are some students of the "São José" Workshops in Lisbon, from the tailoring course. In the image, the students are engaged in making some garments, using tools and machinery of the time.

Santa Ana, El Salvador - 1938 - Students from the various classes of the "Colegio San José" pose in a traditional group photo, together with some Salesians, under a picture depicting Don Bosco. The photograph, dating from the year 1938, was posted on the Flickr channel of the Salesian Bulletin of Central America.
