(ANS – Parla) – A special day called "Cocinando convivencia" (Shared Cooking ) was held in Parla on 27 June. This was a charity market and a cooking competition that brought together the beneficiaries of various projects managed by the Salesian social platform active in the Madrid municipality of Parla.

(ANS – Locorotondo) – The Francesco Convertini bicycle path was inaugurated on the morning of Saturday 29 June 2024, on the 89th anniversary of the ordination of the Venerable Fr Francesco Convertini, SDB, in Piazza Antonio Mitrano in Locorotondo (Bari), in the presence of the Mayor, Dr Antonio Bufano, of the Municipal Councillor, Dr Mariangela Convertini, and several other councillors and municipal councillors. The path crosses the countryside of Locorotondo and ends in Contrada Papariello, where the Venerable was born on 29 August 1898.

(ANS – Muhazi) – The  Gender issues applied to agriculture project has borne fruit at the Don Bosco School of Technical and Vocational Education in Muhazi, Rwanda, with the graduation of the first class of 21 young mothers in vulnerable situations. For six months the girls participated in a short agriculture course, finally receiving a tool kit and learning to produce soap and tofu to sell.

(ANS – Quito) – On 28 June, the Salesian Ongoing Formation Centre for America (CSFPA), based in Quito, successfully concluded the study programme called "Salesianity Intensive", an initiative that brought together 32 lay people from different works in the Province of Ecuador for the first time.

(ANS – Sao Paulo) – The 16th edition of the ABCR Festival was held in Sao Paulo on 1 and 2 July 2024 and represented a milestone for fundraising in the Third Sector. With the theme "Innovating fundraising", the event brought together leaders and professionals in the sector for two days of intense exchange of knowledge and experiences.

(ANS – Madrid) – Every year, Salesian organisations send young volunteers on mission for brief and medium-long periods. The former have an experience ranging from one to three months and their stay is coordinated by the Salesian Provinces. The latter spend more than three months in their place of destination and their stay is coordinated by the Misiones Salesianas Mission Office based in Madrid. This year, 19 volunteers are sent on mission, with Misiones Salesianas, 6 from Spain's Mary Help of Christians Province (SMX) and 33 from Spain's Saint James the Greater Province (SSM).
