(ANS – Tiruchy) – The Salesian Province of Tiruchy celebrated its Silver Jubilee with the Salesian Family on August 4, 2024, at the Don Bosco Media Centre, Manikandam, Tiruchy. The event was graced by the presence of Rev. Fr. Stefano Martoglio SDB, Vicar of the Rector Major, who presided over the celebration. Rev. Fr. Charles Joseph SDB, Rector of Don Bosco Manikandam, warmly welcomed him. Other dignitaries included Rev. Fr. Agilan Sarprasadam SDB, Provincial of Tiruchy Province, and Rev. Sr. Majella FMA, Provincial of Tiruchy Province.

This is the question that Andy Stalman, entrepreneur, writer and lecturer, invited us to reflect on in his conference entitled "How can the Catholic Church better understand the digital transformation taking place in the modern world?", held in the main hall of the Pontifical Salesian University in Rome on the afternoon of Tuesday 6 August, as part of the World Conference on Social Communication "Shaping Tomorrow".
(ANS – Rome) - At the "Shaping Tomorrow" Communication Conference, Laura Wagner-Meyer, Program Manager at Seen TV, shared her insights on effectively engaging Generation Z audiences. As a model, fashion designer, and advocate for the differently-abled, Wagner-Meyer's personal journey has informed Seen TV's mission to amplify underrepresented voices and foster greater empathy.
(ANS – Paris) – While the attention of the whole world is focused on the city of Paris, where the Olympic Games are taking place from 26 July to 11 August 2024, the French Bishops' Conference, with the desire to enhance the Christian dimension of the Olympics, has launched the "Holy Games", a series of initiatives to animate the churches and squares of the city, with the aim of spreading the values of fraternity, respect, sacrifice and healthy sport. The Salesian Family in France is also actively involved in the initiative.
