Yassin was born in Morocco, at Imi-N'fast. He arrived in Italy, still a minor, to reunite with his family, who lived in Vercelli. He established himself here and enrolled in school. He attended the eighth grade for a period, but he never managed to complete this educational path. In fact, his family decided to leave Italy and move to France.
This latest change proved difficult for Yassin who found himself moving from Morocco to Italy and then to France in such a brief time. However, he stayed with his family. Once he became of age, his relatives returned to Morocco, while he decided to stay in France, where he found work in a supermarket. His wish, however, was to return to Italy and finish his studies.
At the beginning of 2018 he returned to Italy and settled in Turin where he had some friends he knew he could count on. On obtaining a residence permit, Yassin decided to continue to pursue his dream of being able to start studying again.
Thanks to the project "M'interesso di te", a plan started in an experimental form in Turin, Naples and Catania, and financed by the SCS / CNOS Federation, Salesians for the Social, Yassin can go back to study. "Thanks to this project I have legal support, a job and training orientation and an Italian language course to improve my knowledge of the language," he said.
The activities of "M'interesso di te" are supported by the Bank of Intesa San Paolo's charity fund and are carried out by a network of educators, psychologists and volunteers who guarantee support and protection to those in need.
