(ANS – Ljubljana) – The "Fuskabo Circus", known for its expertise in youth social circus arts (using circus arts - acrobatics, juggling, aerial performances, and clowning, but presented in a more artistic and theatrical way -to empower young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to promote creativity, cooperation, and personal growth), operates within the Salesian Institute "Skala Don Bosko" in the Kodeljevo district of Ljubljana. For the new season, it has prepared an acclaimed new show titled "Briciole" (Crumbs).

For those familiar with Salesian spirituality, the title holds deep significance, reflecting the essence of Don Bosco's Preventive System and his attention to those often overlooked by society. For visitors, friends, and supporters, it is an original and imaginative word that invites further exploration.

The 50-minute performance is based on the real-life work of Saint John Bosco with the poor youth of Turin. After the first highly praised performance on Sunday, March 9, 2025, the director of the circus and show, Mr. Zef Berišaj, shared his thoughts:
"It is truly wonderful to see how our young circus artists grow and develop year after year—not only in their acting skills but also in perfecting the technical aspects of the circus disciplines they perform."

He added:
"Their satisfied expressions and broad smiles, along with the audience's positive response, reassure us that we are heading in the right direction in developing our circus vision together."

For "Briciole," the young artists took an innovative approach, moving beyond traditional frameworks. Portraying a real-life story through circus arts—without words or dialogue—is no easy task. Yet, these talented performers immersed themselves in Don Bosco’s time and circumstances, superbly bringing to life his creative love for young people through movement and performance.

The show has received wide media coverage from major Slovenian news portals and national television, which have praised the initiative and given it highly favorable reviews.

Fr. Boštjan Jamnik, SDB, Rector of the Skala Institute, commented:
"We are delighted to spread Salesian education and inspire reflection on the state of contemporary youth society through the tools and methods of circus arts—often seen only as entertainment and play."
