28 May 2024

(ANS – Rome) – The "Please look forward" initiative, the competition for young eco-reporters promoted by the Sacred Heart of Jesus Province of Central Italy (ICC) and the Cinecircoli Giovanili Socioculturali APS (CGS) association together with partners Salesians for Social APS and the Salesian  Volontariato Internazionale per lo Sviluppo (VIS) NGO, has ended with the selection of the best videos produced.

The proposal/challenge given young participants – who must be from 15 to 30 years old – included the design and creation of reports of a maximum duration of 3 minutes that highlighted an ecological problem with respect to the following sectors: waste in general, water, food, transport, plastic, clothing or smartphone, using only a smartphone for filming.

The jury, made up of the members of the organising committee, awarded the first prize for the most significant story to the video "Stop world plastic pollution", made by the young people at the Casa Di Salvo, for having used the smartphone in a simple and fun way and for the simple and constructive suggestions that can be applied in daily life.

The second prize, for best photography, was awarded to the "Green, the spirit of ecology" video made by the young people from the ParodieDisneyoung group, for the original choice of cinematography in the development of the narrative.

You can view all the papers produced by connecting to the specially prepared playlist on the YouTube channel of the Cinecircoli Giovanili Socioculturali association.
